Information we collect
When you contact us about recruitment support, we may receive your name, organisation, work email address, the type of support you are interested in, your message and any information you choose to include in later correspondence.
When you apply for or express interest in a vacancy, we may receive your name, email address, telephone number, the role you are interested in, your message, CV and any information you choose to provide in your email or supporting documents.
Please do not send CVs, special category information or other candidate personal data through the employer enquiry form. Candidate CVs should be sent only through the email application route shown on a vacancy page.
How and why we use it
We use enquiry information to respond, understand the support you may need, discuss potential services, keep an appropriate record of our correspondence and protect our legitimate business interests.
We use candidate information to consider suitability for the vacancy identified, communicate about the recruitment process and, where appropriate, consider or contact you about other suitable opportunities.
We use aggregate website statistics to understand how the website is used and improve its content and performance.
Our lawful basis will usually be taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing a contract, or our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries, operating the consultancy, managing recruitment activity and improving our website. We do not use enquiry or candidate information for solely automated decisions.
Who we share it with
We may use trusted service providers that support our website, email and business administration. They may process information only for those services and under appropriate safeguards. Where relevant to a vacancy, candidate information may be shared with the organisation recruiting for that role or an authorised recruitment partner, but only as reasonably necessary for the recruitment process. We may also disclose information where required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and candidate information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the conversation, recruitment process, any resulting client or candidate relationship, our legal and regulatory obligations, and the resolution of disputes. The period will depend on whether an enquiry or application progresses and the nature of the correspondence.
International processing
Some technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where this applies, we take steps to ensure an appropriate UK data protection safeguard is used.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your information, restrict or object to its use, and receive certain information in a portable format. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
You have the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interests. To exercise a right, including an objection to our use of website analytics, email info@wwutalentpartners.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity.
Complaints
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Cookies, analytics and website technology
We use Plausible Analytics to understand aggregate website usage and improve the website. Plausible records the page hostname and path, referral source, limited campaign parameters, browser, operating system, device type and approximate country, region and city. It also records when the “Prepare enquiry” button or direct WWU email link is activated. These events contain only the interaction name; we do not send names, email addresses, organisations, support selections, messages or other form values to Plausible.
Our Plausible implementation does not use cookies, browser cache or local storage, and does not create persistent identifiers. IP address and user-agent information are used to produce a daily, site-specific identifier, but the raw IP address and full user agent are not stored. We do not use this implementation for advertising, cross-site tracking or individual visitor profiling.
The vacancy application form prepares an email in your own email application. It does not upload or store your form entries or CV on this website. Your information is sent only when you review and send that email.
The hosting service may use strictly necessary technology for security, access and delivery of the website. Because the analytics implementation does not store or access information on your device, the site does not display an analytics consent banner. We will review this if the website’s functionality changes.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when our services, systems or legal obligations change. The latest version will always appear on this page.
